Please reach out at angei@stanford.edu if you cannot find an answer to your question.
The short answer is it depends. During our pilot run, interviews typically lasted between 60-120 minutes. However, we understand that time is a limited resource. Therefore, even if you are very time-restricted, please do not hesitate to participate! It is more important to hear as many diverse viewpoints as possible rather than talk at length with only a handful of individuals.
Your unique opinion on some critical aspects in a shorter interview may be of immeasurable value to the success of this project.
YES!
Before the interview, you do not need to think about the conversation topic. We will figure things out together!
In short: Only the project team.
No recording will be shared during any meetings or conferences. During the transcription process, data will be pseudonymized, i.e., all information that may lead to the identification of the interviewee will be removed or modified. All research procedures are in line with ethical conduct for undertaking qualitative research. Before your interview, the objectives of this study and the interview guideline were controlled by Stanford Institutional Review Board (IRB). Before your interview, you will receive more detailed information about data handling as part of your consent form to participate in this research.
Apart from contributing to scientific understanding, we hope that by participating in this study you will deepen your own understanding of community which may benefit your every day (working) life. However, you will not be able to receive any reimbursement as payment for your participation.
